How do you train a puppy in the winter when you are not home? Though I always dreamed of getting a puppy for Christmas, I discovered it is not a good idea. It is really hard to housebreak a tiny puppy when there is snow on the ground. Cha Cha is learning to sleep at the foot of the bed instead of under the covers and between us. I am planning to work on some behavior issues with her during my summer break. She is most loveable in the evening when she is ready to snuggle on my lap. Brandy sleeps beside me in the recliner.
Cha Cha is the first dog we've had that loves to play fetch. She is full grown and spayed now. I'll post a more recent photo soon.
